Overview

Montenegro is a land which is small in size but has greatness in many other things. What does it mean to be ‘’great’’? For us, it is not the size of the country in square kilometres, not the size of the city and population. Our greatness lies in our people. The warmth and hospitality of the Montenegrin people is something that is the most precious thing we have. That is why we can say that Montenegro is small land for great holidays which will provide you with an unforgettable experience.

Hidden in the heart of Europe, this land is yet to be discovered. Montenegro is a perfect mixture of the sea, mountains, beautiful views and a great historical and cultural heritage.

Get acquainted with the beauty of abandoned places Mother Nature took back under her wing;
Hear the voice of our mountains, lakes, sea and people.
And what in our wilderness, you will discover, is something else on your journey.
And that is…

Drive to Njegusi village.

Njegusi is a village located on the slopes of Lovcen Mountain. It is best known as the birthplace of our most beloved poet, philosopher, ruler, hero.. well, all in one - Petar II Petrovic Njegos. His home is open to all interested visitors. It is entirely made of stone, part of traditional folk Montenegrin architecture.

But that is still not everything. Njegusi will take your heart through your belly.

Immerse yourself in the daily life of this traditional mountain community by enjoying the unique taste of Njegus prosciutto and the best cheese in the world, Njegus cheese. Enjoy your meal!

We will take the famous road from the 19th century, known as 25 Serpentines, to reach Kotor.

As we descend, the Bay of Boka's unsurpassed beauty will unfold before your eyes, and you will undoubtfully fall in love with the southernmost fjord in Europe and a love story written between tits switchbacks.

Kotor walking tour + free time

Kotor is a stunning coastal town nestled between imposing mountains and the picturesque Bay of Kotor. With its well-preserved medieval architecture, winding cobblestone streets, and historic landmarks such as the St Tryphon Cathedral ( older than Notre – Dame in Paris!)and the ancient city walls, Kotor offers a unique blend of natural beauty and cultural richness.

From exploring the charming old town to hiking to the fortress perched atop the hill overlooking the bay, Kotor is a destination that captivates travellers with its timeless charm and breathtaking scenery.

Perast boat tour

But no stories and legends can compare with the ones behind our two islets, the natural one, Saint George and the man-made one, Our Lady of the Rock. Proudly standing in the centre of the Bay of Boka, taking more glory than any other place in our country.

The natural one, Saint George, holds a Benedictine monastery from the 12th century and is known as the ‘’Island of death’’, as it was once a graveyard for the noble families from Perast. But it is best known for the love story that goes beyond ‘’Romeo and Juliet”.

The one that we are going to visit was made upon a rock, where sailors have found an icon of the Virgin Mary holding her child, and to honour that, they have decided to build an island with a church by throwing the rocks always at the same place, and using parts of sunken ships from the battles.

Full-day North adventure.

On the way to the north of Montenegro, the Djurdjevica Bridge on the Tara River is an unavoidable attraction.

The bridge offers a unique view of the river, canyon and the surrounding nature. At the moment of construction, it was the highest bridge in Europe. It is located on the Tara River, under UNESCO protection and known as ‘’The Tear of Europe’’, for being the most extensive reservoir of drinking water.

But the most exciting fact is that Tara River creates the deepest canyon in Europe (1330) and the second deepest in the world, only after The Grand Canyon in America.

Black lake; free time

The lake that we are particularly proud of and is an unmissable segment of every tour of the north is Crno Jezero. Another name by which it is known is 'Mountain eyes' and is one of the symbols of this region. It’s the largest and most famous lake of Durmitor, located below the mountaintop of Međed and is surrounded by a coniferous forest, which gives it a distinctive blue-green colour.

It consists of a small and a large lake separated by a small narrow area of land. It is very attractive for bathers during the summer, while it freezes over during the winter. Because of its outstanding beauty and nature, this national park will remain in your heart forever.

Breakfast. Pick up at your hotel. Drive to Biogradska Gora NP.

Welcome to Biograd Lake, one of Montenegro's most tranquil and picturesque destinations. Situated in the heart of the country, this stunning natural wonder is renowned for its crystal-clear waters and unspoiled natural beauty.

Lake Biograd is the largest mountain lake in Montenegro, located on the Bjelasica mountain. With its wooded surroundings, it forms the most beautiful part of the Biogradska Gora National Park, which was founded in 1952. The lake is one of the main attractions because it belongs to the group of glacial lakes and is located at an altitude of 1100 meters. Biogradska Gora is a unique experience; the rainforest, mountains, streams and lake form a landscape that cannot be seen anywhere else.

You will feel as if you have stepped out of a fairy tale.

A drive through the magnificent natural area of Biogradska Gora and Bjelasica provides a unique experience for nature lovers. Tourists can expect to get acquainted with authentic mountain houses - savardaci, ski centre Jezerine, and Katun Vranjak with the possibility of breakfast with Montenegrin local products at 1750 meters above sea level. You will experience the unique beauty of Vidikovac, from where there is a view of Komovi and three national parks - Prokletije, Durmitor and Biogradska Gora.

One of the enchanting views is from the top of Zekova glava, from where you can see the glacial Pešić Lake, one of the main attractions. You will feel the richness and generosity of nature through a memorable experience of picking endemic plants, wild strawberries, blueberries and medicinal herbs.

Discovering the pearls of this mountain - Lake Biograd offers extraordinary beauty and is a beautiful area for observation and photography. Driving to the highest point of Bjelasica - Crna Glava 2139 meters above sea level, allows you an unusual view of Biograd and Ursulovac lakes. After the JEEP safari, we organise lunch.

On this trip, it will become clear why Biogradska Gora has been declared one of Europe’s most beautiful national parks.
