Overview

Montenegro is a land which is small in size but has greatness in many other things. What does it mean to be ‘’great’’? For us, it is not the size of the country in square kilometres, not the size of the city and population. Our greatness lies in our people. The warmth and hospitality of the Montenegrin people is something that is the most precious thing we have. That is why we can say that Montenegro is small land for great holidays which will provide you with an unforgettable experience.

Hidden in the heart of Europe, this land is yet to be discovered. Montenegro is a perfect mixture of the sea, mountains, beautiful views and a great historical and cultural heritage.

Get acquainted with the beauty of abandoned places Mother Nature took back under her wing;
Hear the voice of our mountains, lakes, sea and people.
And what in our wilderness, you will discover, is something else on your journey.
And that is…

You are welcome here!

Tour Plan

Arrival at Tivat International Airport; Transport to the hotel Slovenska Plaza 4*, in Budva. Check-in. Free time and overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel.  Pick up at your hotel for a full-day Durmitor tour.

The Ring around Durmitor is a unique tour that will leave you in wonder at the natural beauty of Montenegro. This tour takes you through the Olympus of Montenegro - Durmitor National Park, home to some of Europe's most magnificent mountain ranges and crystal-clear glacier lakes.

Starting point is Zabljak, from where we go to Ćurevac, which is the viewpoint for Tara River canyon, at 1700 meters altitude. From this point, you can see the view of the deepest part of the canyon and the village of Tepca, which is the oldest inhabited place in the Žabljak municipality. After that, we go to another viewpoint Štuoc, where you can see a panoramic view of Žabljak, the Black Lake and the north part of the Durmitor massif.

We continue the drive to the village of Mala Crna Gora (Little Montenegro). Reaching the village, shorter breaks are made on the beautiful viewpoints, spots, and any location you request. The village is a beautiful and fascinating spot, due to its small number of inhabitants working in traditional agriculture and cattle-keeping jobs.

From the village, we drive and walk down to the Sušica River Canyon and its lake, which is one of the most beautiful lakes in Durmitor.

From the lake, we ascend up the road up the steep edges of the canyon up to the Piva mountain plateau. Unlike the Durmitor rocks, Piva Mountain is made of rolling hills, grasslands and old forests. On the way, we stop for photographs of the most beautiful parts of Durmitor: Todorev do, Prutaš, Boljske grade, Dobri do, Valovito Lake, Modro Lake and Sedlo mountain range at 1907 meters of altitude. Arrival back to ŽabljakLunch break.

Breakfast at your hotel.  Transfer from your hotel to the starting point of the tour.

This is a tour that will give you complete pleasure during an exciting ride along the shores of the enchanting Bay of Kotor. You will enjoy a panoramic view of fishing villages, churches, and many other historical monuments.

Your opinion about Kotor Bay might already be established, but what will truly cement your impression about this Montenegrin jewel is the cruise that lies ahead.

After cruising the gulf for a while you’ll have your eyes fixated on an islet in the middle of the bay. This very place is marked by legends that speak of Our Lady of Our Rocks. Due to the legend about its origin and indescribable beauty, it is considered one of the main tourist attractions of Montenegro.

The next stop, preceded by circling the spectacular island Mamula, is the Blue Cave on Lustica Peninsula – accessible only by boat(!). Its name derives from the beautifully nuanced blue water inside the cave, created by reflections from the light hitting the sandy bottom. The blue light radiates so brightly that one can see it even while approaching the spot.

As soon as we start making our way through the calm waters of the bay, you’ll be mesmerized by the seascape and the multiple timestamps, discernible by countless events that occurred in the history of the Bay of Kotor. While cruising through the place further down the line you can see many significant sites that embody the lifestyle of fishermen and other locals from this area. After a while, you’ll either catch yourself lost in thoughts about the chronicles from the past or just enjoy your mindful sea trip.

A last stop is a short visit to the ex-submarine military base – where an intriguing story awaits you.

This tour is a definite must on any traveller’s to-do list.
