Overview

Montenegro is a land which is small in size but has greatness in many other things. What does it mean to be ‘’great’’? For us, it is not the size of the country in square kilometres, not the size of the city and population. Our greatness lies in our people. The warmth and hospitality of the Montenegrin people is something that is the most precious thing we have. That is why we can say that Montenegro is small land for great holidays which will provide you with an unforgettable experience.

Hidden in the heart of Europe, this land is yet to be discovered. Montenegro is a perfect mixture of the sea, mountains, beautiful views and a great historical and cultural heritage.

Get acquainted with the beauty of abandoned places Mother Nature took back under her wing;
Hear the voice of our mountains, lakes, sea and people.
And what in our wilderness, you will discover, is something else on your journey.
And that is…

You are welcome here!

Tour Plan

Arrival at Tivat or Podgorica International Airport. Meet & Greet and transfer to a hotel in Budva (Slovenska Plaza 4* or similar.) Check-in. Free time and overnight.

Breakfast. Pick up at your hotel.

On our way to the North, we will make photo stops across the islands of St George and Our Lady of The Rocks, but also above the unique Salty Lake in Niksic municipality.

An unavoidable attraction while in Montenegro is definitely the Djurdjevica Bridge on the Tara River.

Djurdjevica Tara Bridge is a striking concrete arch bridge located in the heart of the Tara River Canyon in Montenegro.

Completed in 1940, the bridge spans 365 meters across the Tara River and is one of the largest concrete arch bridges in the world.

The bridge is known for its breathtaking views of the surrounding canyon, which creates the deepest canyon in Europe (1330) and the second deepest in the world, only after Grand Canyon in Colorado.

Black Lake; free time

The lake that we are particularly proud of and is an unmissable segment of every tour of the north is Crno jezero.

Crno Jezero, or Black Lake, is a stunning glacial lake located in the heart of Durmitor National Park in Montenegro.

The lake gets its name from its deep, dark waters, which reflect the surrounding forests and mountains, creating a truly breathtaking and mystical landscape.

The majestic snow-capped Medjed (Bear) peak rises behind the lake, creating a dramatic and awe-inspiring backdrop. You can hike around the lake, admiring the surrounding forests and mountains, or take a boat out onto the crystal-clear waters

It is very attractive for bathers during the summer, while during the winter is entirely frozen. Because of its outstanding beauty and nature, this national park will remain in your heart forever.

Lunch break. Drive to Ostrog monastery

Visit Ostrog Monastery, Free time

Ostrog Monastery is a stunning religious site perched on a cliffside in Montenegro, known for its striking architecture, rich history, and spiritual significance.

The monastery was founded in the 17th century and is home to a collection of ornate chapels, frescoes, and artefacts that showcase the intricate craftsmanship and artistic style of the period.

The place is also renowned for its beautiful setting, with panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and mountains.

Orthodox Christians, Roman Catholics and Muslims, but also atheists, consider this a holy place. They all believe that the relics of Saint Basil bring miracles, and many of those stories are documented.
People from all around the world are coming here to pay their respects, seek blessings, or simply marvel at the awe-inspiring beauty of this sacred place.

And the fact that all religions are equally welcomed here makes the Ostrog monastery one of the biggest sanctuaries in the world and one of the most visited ones also.

Whether you're a religious pilgrim or a curious traveller, Ostrog Monastery is a destination that will leave a lasting impression and a sense of spiritual upliftment.

This tour is about everything.

About the heart and soul of Montenegro; About two national parks, steep mountains and serene waters; two different climates, two distinct regions, a coastline and a mainland; a leisure boat tour and a conquer of the mountain peak;

Our local cuisine, traditional food, customs, history and culture, but more than anything, this tour is about our people.

And as you emerge in our culture, you will understand why we are best known for our hospitality. As soon as your first day is over, you will already feel at home.

Breakfast. Pick up at your hotel.

Sveti Stefan Island is a unique and picturesque islet located just a few kilometres south of Budva. The island was originally a small fishing village that was transformed into a luxury resort in the 1960s, and it has since become one of Montenegro's most iconic and exclusive destinations, which has hosted many celebrities such as Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Sophia Loren, Novak Djokovic etc.

“Just as if I have returned to town from the most beautiful fairy tale of my childhood.”

— SOPHIA LOREN  about St Stefan.

Explore Skadar lake - the biggest lake in the Balkan while tasting our local homemade breakfast served on a boat. But keep your eyes open because you don’t want to miss more than 260 species of birds migrating from Europe to Africa or many abandoned little islands that Mother Nature took back under her wing.

The extraordinary beauty of Skadar Lake is an absolute masterpiece of Nature.

Hidden among hills, mountains and wild forests, its serene waters will create a mosaic of memories you will want to keep forever.

‘’Cetinje is a small but mighty town, original as a fairytale, yet simple as a folk song Even small in size, you can feel its hidden greatness.” -

And we couldn’t have said it better.

Old Royal Capital Cetinje, a town of immense cultural and historical importance, where the history of Montenegro was written. Every corner, stone and inch of this town will tell great stories about bold and defiant Montenegrin warriors and our proud and brave women.

During the walking tour the guide will lead you through the most important monuments that are distinguished by their beauty and historical relevance.

After the Walking tour of Cetinje, we will continue to the world’s highest Mausoleum.

When you overcome 461 stairs, you will find yourself at the second-highest peak of Lovcen Mountain, the famous ‘Black Mountain’, after which  Montenegro got its name.

And no words do justice to this place. On a clear sky, you can see  70% of mountainous Montenegro.

A place was chosen by our most beloved poet, philosopher, ruler and hero Peter II Petrovic Njegos, as his forever resting place, and after the view and stories that our guide will share with you, you will understand why!

Lunch break

In the traditional Montenegrin village, Njegusi, the flavours of the local cuisine will transport you to a simpler time, where meals were shared with loved ones and were made with care and dedication.

Njeguši is a typical Montenegrin village, located below Lovcen NP, world known for producing the best cheese and prosciutto in the Region.

It is also known as the birthplace of the Petrović dynasty, the most famous Montenegrin dynasty which ruled the country from 1696 to 1918.

And if all of this was not enough, we still have something up our sleeves.

We will take the road known as 25 Serpentines, which will leave you in awe of the engineering marvels of the past. As the unsurpassed beauty of the Bay of Boka unfolds before your eyes, it will ultimately convince you that, at least for a day, you lived a fairytale.

Kotor walking tour

Kotor Old Town is a dramatic town where the present lives in the maze of medieval churches, cathedrals, ancient walls, Venetian palaces and pillars.

Kotor is made up of contrasts – the old squares with modern cafes, the sounds of serenade and live music, the echo of the footsteps down the narrow cobblestone alleys and the lazy purr of cats lying under the balconies, while majestic mountains tower in the town, keeping it safe.

But amidst all the historical grandeur, Kotor is home to a furry population that's just as captivating as the city itself - its cats. These felines are as much a part of Kotor's charm as its ancient architecture and bustling squares, and they are a beloved fixture of the city's culture.

Anyone who strolls through the small, narrow streets widened into squares can easily imagine why Kotor is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The walking tour through time, where legends and history come to life.
