Overview

Montenegro is a land which is small in size but has greatness in many other things. What does it mean to be ‘’great’’? For us, it is not the size of the country in square kilometres, not the size of the city and population. Our greatness lies in our people. The warmth and hospitality of the Montenegrin people is something that is the most precious thing we have. That is why we can say that Montenegro is small land for great holidays which will provide you with an unforgettable experience.

Hidden in the heart of Europe, this land is yet to be discovered. Montenegro is a perfect mixture of the sea, mountains, beautiful views and a great historical and cultural heritage.

Get acquainted with the beauty of abandoned places Mother Nature took back under her wing;
Hear the voice of our mountains, lakes, sea and people.
And what in our wilderness, you will discover, is something else on your journey.
And that is…

Boat tour Rijeka Crnojevića – Skadar lake

This is the perfect place to explore Montenegro in a new way. Before entering the town, you will meet Pavlova strana, which will delight you with the beauty of the art of nature.

The town of Rijeka Crnojević was held by the royal family of Crnojević as the capital as early as the 15th century. One hundred years ago, it was the largest port in Montenegro, one of the leading trade centres. It was a famous place where traders from Italy would come to buy the unique golden dried bleak. Next to the short promenade, there is a local symbol - the old stone bridge from 1855.

After a short tour, we are going on a boat ride through one of the most beautiful national parks – Skadar Lake.

Escape the crowds and admire our magnificent surroundings.

We arrive in  Skadar Lake National Park by boat ride from Rijeka Crnojevića.

Close your eyes and imagine a place where crystal clear waters meet the dense, lush forest. Imagine the sound of birds chirping and leaves rustling in the gentle breeze. This is Skadar Lake, the hidden gem and the biggest lake in the Balkans.

Explore this absolute masterpiece of Nature while tasting our local homemade snack served on a boat. But keep your eyes open because you don’t want to miss more than 260 species of birds migrating from Europe to Africa or many abandoned little islands that Mother Nature took back under her wing.

As you gaze out across the shimmering lake, surrounded by a stunning mountain landscape, you will discover hidden coves and bays accessible only by boat. You’ll marvel at the rich flora and fauna that call this place home. The gentle sound of the water lapping against the boat, and the warm sun on your skin, a feeling that is yet to be discovered in your heart will wash over you.

And if the sun becomes too warm, we can always take a swim!

Breakfast at your hotel.

The road will lead us to the small but prettiest town in Montenegro. Nestled between mountains and mountains of the sea, Perast has been pronounced one of the prettiest towns in Europe by many tourists (and locals). The town of  Perast is located about a kilometre from the coast, on both sides of a high ridge above the deep Adriatic Sea

Perast is unique because the town has kept its traditional appearance, meaning there’s no modern architecture and all the buildings are built in the traditional stone style. Something that will attract our attention is definitely the artificial island Lady of the Rocks. On this island, there is a church, a museum and a souvenir shop. The island can be reached by boat from Perast. Due to the legend about its origin and indescribable beauty, the island takes all the glory of the Bay!

The next town is unsurpassed Kotor. The Old Town of Kotor is the best-preserved medieval urban environment, typical of towns built between the 12th and 14th centuries. The European Union has classified it as a cultural landscape of "outstanding universal value", and UNESCO has included it in the list of World Natural and Cultural Heritage. More than a stunning summer getaway, Kotor features fascinating history, a unique culture formed from centuries of seafaring, trade and new denizens, and impressive structures including ancient churches and a fortress winding high above the city’s walls..

To our next destination, Mausoleum Lovćen, we will use a road that will leave you breathless. The famous 25 serpentines have not left anyone indifferent due to its architectural marvels of the past as well as the enchanting views which with every turn become more incredible.

The Mausoleum Lovćen is a grand structure situated on the summit of Mount Lovćen , it’s the worlds’ highest mausoleum,  built in 1974 in memory of Petar II Petrović Njegoš, a renowned philosopher and prince-bishop of Montenegro.

Our most beloved ruler, poet, philosopher and hero.

The mausoleum is an architectural masterpiece that combines traditional Montenegrin style with modern elements

Visitors can climb to the top of the mausoleum and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, and even neighbouring countries. More than 70% of our country is visible from the second-highest peak of mountain Lovcen.

Be ready for a beautiful view and 461 stairs to get to the top of the mausoleum.

Drive back to the hotel.

Our professional driver will pick you up in front of your hotel.

Sveti Stefan Island is a unique and picturesque islet located just a few kilometres south of Budva. The island was originally a small fishing village that was transformed into a luxury resort in the 1960s, and it has since become one of Montenegro's most iconic and exclusive destinations, which has hosted many famous people like Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Sophia Loren, Christiano Ronaldo etc.

The island is connected to the mainland by a narrow causeway and is home to a cluster of traditional stone houses and narrow streets that wind their way up to the top of the island.

Just as if I have returned to town from the most beautiful fairy tale of my childhood.”

— Sophia Loren about St Stefan island

Drive to the Old Olive Tree

We will witness that this town is widely recognizable for its thousands of olive trees, the average age of which is close to a thousand years. The oldest tree in Europe, and according to some sources in the world - Stara Oliva (Ancient Olive Tree), which is more than 2000 years old, attracts the most attention! In 2015, a scientific analysis of the tree tissue was conducted, which showed that this olive tree is 2240 years old!

The road will lead us to the Old Town Ulcinj.

The city of Ulcinj is located in the southeastern zone of the Montenegrin coast. Since 1961, the city of Ulcinj has been under UNESCO protection due to its incredible cultural significance as well as its great national importance.

Due to the remains of Cyclopean walls, it is believed that the first settlement in this area existed in the 4th and 5th centuries. Walking among the walls of the old town, we will listen to stories worth mentioning, and our accompaniment will be a view of the blue Adriatic.

Visit Old town Bar; free time

Walking through the old town is like walking through history. Every street leads to a different time, place and person.

As soon as we enter the city, we will be greeted by the spirit of the old city, whose streets lead us to incredible, unique and rich stories about history and culture. It is surrounded by restaurants, cafés and bars offering delicious dishes and drinks which will be served to you in a traditional way.

Due to its position and many centuries-long history, the Old Town of Bar represents a composition of all Mediterranean cultures: Illyrian, Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Slavic, Venetian and Ottoman. You will be surrounded by walls that are centuries old and each one tells its own story.

Drive back to the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Free time to explore on your own, book some other activities, enjoy sunny beaches etc.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Biogradska Gora NP

Welcome to Biograd Lake, one of Montenegro's most tranquil and picturesque destinations. Situated in the heart of the country, this stunning natural wonder is renowned for its crystal-clear waters and unspoiled natural beauty.

Lake Biograd is the largest mountain lake in Montenegro, located on the Bjelasica mountain. With its wooded surroundings, it forms the most beautiful part of the Biogradska Gora National Park, which was founded in 1952.

The lake is one of the main attractions because it belongs to the group of glacial lakes and is located at an altitude of 1100 meters. Biogradska Gora is a unique experience, the last rainforest of Europe, mountains, streams and lakes form a landscape that cannot be seen anywhere else.

After staying in this national park, you will feel as if you have stepped out of a fairy tale.

On our tour feel like a real highlander of Montenegro as we discover this mystical mountain. According to some ancient legends, the Greek gods chose Durmitor as their resort and resting place.

We will guide you through this miracle world of fairies hiding deep in their bowels, with winged horses flying from one hill to another. Many legends have been told about the “Valley of the Gods”, but nothing can beat the truth!

Its snow-capped peaks ( 48 of them are above 2000m), ice caves, 18 glacier lakes known as “Mountain Eyes”, lush forests as far as the eye can see, the second deepest canyon in the whole world, and you need more?

Our first stop on the North will be Crno Jezero, or Black Lake,  a stunning glacial lake located in the heart of Durmitor National Park. The lake gets its name from its deep, dark waters, which reflect the surrounding forests and mountains, creating a truly breathtaking and mystical landscape. Beauty beyond words!

You might catch a glimpse of a majestic golden eagle soaring high over the lake to the Bears’ peak, which gives the impression that the Black Lake wears a crown.

But the crown was never surrounded so easily.

Deep in the heart of Montenegro lies a place of raw beauty and untamed wilderness, a place where the power of Nature is having its best performance.

Known as ‘’The Tear of Europe’’ Tara river creates THE DEEPEST CANYON in Europe (1330m), and the second deepest in entire world, only after The Grand Canyon in USA.

Canyon peaks stand around you like towering giants, etched with the scars of time, two shores connected with Montenegrin architectural pride - Djurdjevica Tara bridge;

Consist out of 5 concrete arches, 172 m high, and 365 m long, below which, the mighty Tara roars and crashes through the rocky gorge, and with unbridled strength and power, carving a path through your heart.

Let the tranquility of the lake wash away your worries, while the bridge's grandeur reminds you of the vastness of the world around you. Immerse yourself in Montenegros’ Wild Beauty, allowing these remarkable sights to leave an indelible mark on your heart and soul.
